Gender Equality Policy
Gender Equality Policy
In accordance with the guidelines of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Treaty on European Union, the European Pact for Gender Equality and the provisions of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic (Art. 13) and the Labor Code (Art. 23 to 65), gender equality is an essential human right for the development of society and for the full participation in society of men and women as persons.
“Gender equality is a fundamental EU value, a fundamental right and a key principle of the European Pillar of Social Rights. It reflects who we are and is also an essential condition for an innovative, competitive and prosperous European economy.”
In general, AQUAPOR incorporates actions into its management practices that contribute to making gender equality a reality in the organization. To this end, and as a way of demonstrating its commitment to this issue, a consultation/questionnaire was carried out with all employees of AQUAPOR’s practices before this Plan was drawn up.
In this way, AQUAPOR’s practices in the field of Gender Equality were analyzed.
