This delivery marks the end of the awareness campaign, organized by \u00c1guas do Planalto, which has been on the \u201cstreets\u201d since January 2021 &#8211; a total of 8,000 bottles were delivered, distributed to 62 schools.<\/p>\n<p>On May 3, the Tondela School Group received 2,786 bottles and Carregal do Sal received 1,141. These bottles will be distributed to all students, teachers and technical assistants at the respective schools.<\/p>\n<p>The delivery ceremonies were attended by \u00c1guas do Planalto&#8217;s board of directors, J\u00falio Valente and Helena Gon\u00e7alves, representing the Tondela Tomaz Ribeiro School Group and the Tondela C\u00e2ndido de Figueiredo School Group, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Carregal do Sal was attended by Maria Jo\u00e3o Marques and Jos\u00e9 Rui Fidalgo, Principal and Deputy Principal of the Carregal do Sal School Group, respectively, and Jos\u00e9 Sousa Batista, Deputy Mayor of Carregal do Sal,<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this initiative was to raise awareness among the school community in the municipalities covered of the need to reduce our ecological footprint, reduce our use of plastics and consume more tap water. In addition, in the context of the pandemic, the measure also had a positive impact, as it limits contact with objects that are not personal.<\/p>\n<p>Preserving the environment and environmental impact is everyone&#8217;s responsibility and \u00c1guas do Planalto is thus making its contribution in the five municipalities in which it has been operating since 1998.
