A AQUAPOR, through its concessions, fhas been recognized by ERSAR –
Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services, with eight awards in the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption” category.
In 2022, the entities Águas de Cascais, Águas de Gondomar, Águas de Vila Real de Santo António, Águas do Lena, Águas do Planalto, Águas da Figueira, Águas da Azambuja and Águas da Teja were honored with this reference, as part of the “Water and Waste Services Awards and Seals”.
Seven of the Aquapor Group’s concessions have revalidated the distinction of “exemplary quality of water for human consumption” achieved in recent years. Águas da Teja now joins the group of management entities with the best water quality in 2022.

To award the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption”, ERSAR carried out a quantitative assessment of 227 regulated management entities, based on the indicators and data from the water quality control regulation cycle, as well as a qualitative assessment, taking into account aspects related to governance, compliance with legal obligations, conduct towards the regulator and significant occurrences with an impact on the provision of the service.
ERSAR awards the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption” to management entities that stand out for their good performance in the provision of public water supply services at low level (to end users).
