Today we marked a very important milestone in our history with the signing of the 4th amendment to the “Concession Contract for the Operation of the Water Collection, Treatment and Distribution System and the Effluent Collection, Treatment and Disposal System in the Municipality of Figueira da Foz”, a ceremony attended by President Pedro Santana Lopes.
With full coverage of the urban water cycle in its activity, Águas da Figueira is renewing its partnership with the Municipality of Figueira for another 13 years (until 2042), with the allocation of an overall investment of 21 million euros in the implementation of a common strategy aimed at promoting environmental and infrastructural sustainability on the road to carbon neutrality, water efficiency and increased system resilience.
This is clear recognition of the work carried out by Águas da Figueira, which promotes a culture of excellence in the service provided to the Municipality of Figueira on a daily basis and believes that it is possible to do more and better every day.
