Águas do Lena, an Aquapor Group company, was recognized with a Vote of Salute and Praise by the Mayor of Batalha, Paulo Jorge Frazão Batista dos Santos, for the work it has been doing in the municipality in the context of the pandemic.
Operating in the municipality of Batalha for more than 23 years, Águas do Lena provides water collection, treatment and supply services to more than 15,000 inhabitants.
At an extraordinary meeting of the municipal executive held last week, the Mayor of Batalha highlighted the commitment and dedication of the professionals on the front line, including Águas do Lena employees. Paulo Jorge Frazão Batista dos Santos considered that everyone, in the areas in which they operate, has been instrumental in ensuring normality in the municipality and in facing the health challenge that COVID-19 has posed to the country.
