Aquapor, through its concessions, has been recognized by ERSAR – the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Authority – with six awards in the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption” category.
Six concessions owned by Aquapor, a Saur Group company, were honored as part of the “Water and Waste Services Awards and Seals”. The entities Águas do Planalto, Águas da Azambuja, Águas de Alenquer, Águas da Figueira, Águas de Cascais and Águas de Gondomar were once again awarded as the management entities with the best water quality in the 2024 edition.
Of the 221 management entities that provided the public water supply service down under last year, 83 were distinguished in this category.
For António Cunha, CEO of Aquapor, “these awards are recognition of the work being done by Aquapor and each of the six concessions, with the aim of providing the best service to the population”.
ERSAR awards the Water and Waste Services Prizes to the management entities that distinguish themselves and that result from the system of evaluation of the services provided to consumers, and taking into account indicators such as safe water, real water losses, occurrence of supply failures, recycling of selective collection waste, response to complaints and coverage of expenses.
The quality seals, also awarded by ERSAR, are given to management entities that provide water supply and wastewater sanitation services and that stand out for their good performance.
