Águas da Teja, an Aquapor Group company, together with the municipality of Trancoso, is promoting a comic strip competition on the Water Cycle, with the aim of raising awareness among the Trancoso school community of the importance, preservation and responsible use of this increasingly precious resource.
The initiative is aimed at primary school pupils in Trancoso, Águas da Teja’s concession area. In addition to raising awareness, the company wants these young pupils to learn about the different phases of the urban water cycle, i.e. from the moment it is collected to the time it is returned to nature.
The work will be presented between January 1 and 31, 2020.
The winners of the competition will be announced on February 28 next year and the five best entries will be awarded a guided tour of the Lisbon Oceanarium.
