Operating since 1997, Aquapor is one of the largest private operators in the Portuguese market for the management, operation, and maintenance of water supply and wastewater treatment systems. It is responsible for 11 water and sanitation service concessions across Portugal, covering 29 municipalities, where the service is provided directly to the population.
The Aquapor Group owns Luságua, which provides services to municipalities and industries. Since February 2021, Aquapor has been part of the Saur group, the third-largest water operator in France, strengthening the group’s capabilities in various activity segments both nationally and internationally. In Portugal, Aquapor has 1,086 employees and over 400,000 customers.
