As part of the celebration of the Day of the Municipality of Batalha, August 14, where, as usual, tribute is paid to some personalities who stand out for their personal merits or civic achievements with clear and unequivocal benefits for the municipality of Batalha and its people, the City Council awarded the company Aguas do Lena S.A. the Municipal Merit Medal – Silver Grade.
This award is made under the terms of Article 6 of Chapter IV of the Regulations for Awarding Municipal Merit Medals and is the result of the work carried out and the service provided to the population of the municipality in excellent coordination with the Municipality over the 24 years of the concession for the Operation and Management of the Water Collection, Treatment and Distribution System for Public Consumption in the Municipality of Batalha.
