Luságua – Resíduos Smart+, a company of Aquapor, is running an initiative with the school community of the Municipality of Estarreja to raise awareness about the importance of adopting environmentally responsible behaviors.
Luságua – Resíduos Smart+ is responsible for managing urban waste collection and transportation services in Estarreja. The company challenged primary school students in Estarreja to create a mini garden using reusable materials and organic compost produced at a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
The project, which involved dozens of students aged 6 to 10, aimed to raise awareness about the need to rethink consumption habits in order to save resources and, consequently, contribute to a more sustainable future.
