Through the implementation of technological solutions that promote water circularity, the agri-food industry can significantly reduce its water consumption.
Aquapor, a market leader in the management of municipal concessions and water supply and wastewater treatment services, will participate in the 2024 edition of the National Agricultural Fair to showcase various solutions that help the agri-food industry improve its water efficiency.
“The effects of climate change on the hydrological cycle require that different sectors adopt measures that promote water circularity and, consequently, its valorization. In this sense, Aquapor provides a diverse range of solutions to help industries reduce water consumption and become more efficient,” says Fátima Pedroso, Director of Industrial Solutions at Aquapor.
The treatment and reuse of industrial effluents, which can later be applied for various purposes, is one of the solutions that will be presented at the event. Additionally, modular solutions allow for the rapid and efficient increase of water treatment capacity, which can be adapted to the specific needs of each industry.
With these measures, Aquapor aims to contribute to making industries more environmentally sustainable by removing pollutants, reusing water, producing energy, and recovering nutrients.
During the National Agricultural Fair, which will take place from June 8th to 16th, Aquapor will also carry out awareness-raising activities for young people about the importance of responsible water consumption through games and playful initiatives.
